Unforgotten

Unforgotten was a pop up art exhibit in Chicago, IL and sponsored by Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence. The idea of the project was to turn people away from thinking of gun violence in numbers and make it personal. We wanted to tell the victims’ stories in a captivating way. So the statues were created from the victims clothing. Then were paired with devices that unlocked video telling the story of each gun violence victim.

With this project we were able to create millions of earned impressions to raise awareness and to bring stories of the victims of gun violence in Illinois to light.
